August 14, Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.  Wine tasting 101                 Kelly Campbell, $48.00

A class for those who enjoy drinking wine but want to learn more, this class will feature two white wines and two red wines to introduce you to the wondrous world of wine. We will cover wine basics, specific wine types and where they are grown, as well as lot of wine tips, great wine info and everything you need to feel a little more knowledgeable about wines in general. Food bites will be included.

Wonderful small plates. On the menu: Corn and Leek sauté with pancetta; Fresh corn fritters with Charred tomato and chipotle salsa; Salmon quesadillas with Smoked chili and mango guacamole; Chocolate lava cakes with raspberries

 

 

August 21, Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.        Italian Style                      Donna Parang, $48.00

Begin the evening with Caprese Bites, roasted tomatoes stuffed with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Followed by a fall Panzanella salad with roasted butternut squash, dried cranberries, walnuts, ciabatta, roast garlic shallot vinaigrette. For our main course, we will do a Frutti di Mare (Fruit of the Sea) – a  lovely dish  of  littleneck clams, black mussels, shrimp, scallops and calamari in a white wine and tomato  sauce over linquine. The night will end with a classic Italian delight, a Nutella panino

 

  August 28 , Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.  Tennessee Tailgating         Joy McCabe, $48.00

Make your tailgate extra special for this exciting new season. On the menu: Pimento Cheese and Pineapple Sandwiches, a tailgate tradition known to bring good luck; Cornbread Layered Salad, a modern take on beans and cornbread; Game Day Hot Dogs served with secret Hot Dog Sauce and learn how to keep them deliciously hot and steamy; for something sweet, Crisp Pecan Cookies.
