Chef will take some of the best in season ingredients and turn them into a fabulous meal. Tonight’s menu: Caprese bites with fresh tomatoes; Watermelon Gazpacho with vine ripe watermelon; Roasted Pork Loin with sweet potatoes and red onions; Lemon brownies for dessert.


August 26, Monday, 6:00 p.m.                           Mexican-French Fusion                             Mary Aebischer, $48.00

Mexico was invaded by the French Empire from 1861 to 1867 which resulted in new culinary inventions blending French cooking techniques with Mexican ingredients. Tonight, we will experiment with these dishes originally from Mexico City. Tonight’s menu: Sopa de Frijol- Cream based bean puree soup served with a scoop of fresh Mexican crema  and red salsa; Pechugas al Poblano- Chicken breasts baked au gratin with a Poblano Chile Sauce; Calabacita soufflé -uses Mexican zucchini with creamy Chihuahua cheese; French Imperial Torte- Almond torte with orange liquor.
